Mmmmmm. French Toast...
I was getting the boys ready for bed last night, straightening their bed, putting away books, light sabers...it was late. Joshua wanted a drink of water and when he came back, he had a scandalous look on his face. I said "What??" and he said:
"Dad's in there watching South Pole again."
Eewwww!! French!
~chuckling~
Good morning :~D
Er, that would be Hey Baby Que Paso.
Freedom toast, then.
It was yummmy. The sourdough really picks up the cinnamon-n-nutmeg flavors.
It's better for breakfast than Tripas.
Don't ya like that touch of third world?
Well, I've had other touches but it's not for polite conversation.
mornin'
It's ~still~ raining.
Well, I'll probably be able to say the same in a month, but we still haven't had enough rain here.
Morning.
Mmmmm.....rain. We could use some of the stuff. I guess it's a good thing I didn't plant that rain garden. Wonder if herhonor the mayor has plans for drought gardens.
I'm still confused by the WA advertising campaign. "We only see the sun two or three days a year - honest!"
No rain for six months?!?
Morning!
Beautiful sunny day here in Iowa. We're planning an expedition. Boating on the river. "Simply messing about in boats" and all that.
I think it's just to keep people from moving here. :~)
Don't forget the camera!
Back from our walk, all's quiet in theshire. Noticed some highscrewl kids begging at a street corner. I guess it's official begging since they are wearing their letter jackets and all have yellow buckets. The adult was on his cell phone, probably trying to find a better corner.
You are sure right, herhonor didn't pick a good year to try the tenthousand raingarden plans. Maybe Corin's shire should try it,seems they're getting all the rain.
Brewed another pot of coffee, punkin spice. hmmmm. Later to a bigbox place for bulbs, we'll see if we need a jackhammer to get them in the ground. Actually LSA watered yesterday so we have a better chance of getting planted today.
I bought some popcorn from some Boy Scouts who were raising $$ to go to Philmont. A much more worth cause than buying skirts and pom poms for the cheerleaders.
er, worthy cause
I'm all coffeed up for the day. Miss Cat is curled up for her midmorning nap and I'm on the way out for my morning walk. Then it's paintbrush time.
