Never mind, I see your lights are off. I guess Cartman will just have to fend for himself tonight.
Hey OT, is Apex, NC anywhere near 'the house'? There's a thread about a HUGH evacuation of folks because of a chlorine gas leak.
It's always hard writing icky stuff and reavers would be atricky, all right. My NaNo plot is going to be hard because the hero is in love with a married woman and I really do not approve but the story needs it. Heh.
No. It's on the other side of the county from "the house." I used to drive through there on the way from "the house" to "my house".
Oh dear...did he ever end up coming home?
I think he hangs out under the house here a lot...so I suppose worst case scenerio is he went there when it got cold and wet.
Yeah, he did make it back... he was on the porch a few minutes later when I went to lock up.
Oh, good!
Wasn't a great night to be out.
Using any kind of language any harder than "gosh" and "darn" is tricky, too.
Heh...my bother suggested I just write everything using gosh and darn, and then put a disclaimer at the beginning telling readers to use their imagination as to what was *really* said.
Heh, I grew up learning all kinds of creative alternatives; gol darnit; dad blamit; gosh darnit;, and my all time favorite, DANG!
Yeah...there are a lot of 'em...
Shoot! What the heck... You bustard!
Izzit Friday yet?
Oh wait....
My favorite new one, I learned from g'nad; Fargin Bastige!!
Just got done with the newsletter.
I'm 'xhausted.
Bastidges.
"By George, I'll pound you!"
Yep. I read 'em in Lileks.
Larry Niven's "Flatlander" stories used "censored" and "deleted" as swear words. It was pretty amusing - the characters were actually saying "you unprintable thing" or "censor it".
Woo Hoo! The weekend!
~sip~
Sez U! I R still at work :P
Stupid manditory overtime...
Neener! Neener!
I need to find a NaNo plot....so what else is new?
Gonna find your plot this weekend?
I would share your weekend celebratoryness but since my husband is still at work I think I will hold off :-)
