Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Great Pics, OT doesn't seem 'silly' she seems in deadly earnest.

Hmmm. Tex-Mex.

heh, sounds like 'gunner' is quite the pup. Kids and a dog, great combination.

Shoot sounds like a great idea; get folks ready for huntin' season. Theboy and his .243, sniff, they do grow up fast. Good Shooting to ya both.

Going to get some Millet orange ramp front sights for the .22s. I'll stick with stock adjustable rear for the present.

We're back from Tex Mex!

Picked up some melba toast and crackers to go with the cheese that goes with the wine. We're fixing to watch a movie now.

.......talking beavers.

Haunted closets.

Smoochmoot Day 2 came and went. There was much smoochery whilst Errol Flynn and David Niven tried to figger out what to do about the Suristanis (name that movie for 60 bonus points!)

Earlier we went to the Gerald Ford Museum. Interesting. I tink they might have added a few things since I was there last.

Fun day, sounds like!

I see my fridge's twin in your kitchen. ;-)

Are the glasses you got in any of the shots? I couldn't quite tell.

So...you guys are at home watching Narnia, and the kids are at a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert...

Yep, in the "Fair Tax" shot and the one under it. You can't make out the etching on them though.

I can't believe Steve took my jedis to a Lynard Skynard concert. He was just roaring on the phone, he thought it was so funny.

~sip~

Becky went home...her back was giving her problems and she was uncomfortable. But we had a great supper and we're all stuffed.

Heh heh!! Steve was laughing and yelling "Listen to this!! Listen!!" So I listened and could hear all this loud music! I said "WHAT IS THAT??" and he said "It's Lynard Skynard....Matthew's freaking out. He's had quite a day."

Which makes me wonder what else they've been up to.

Oh Lord.
