Hi there! I was wondering if you'd landed in Vegas. I bet the climate was a shock after WA!

Actually, I got the job here BEFORE we moved (highly recommended). It's been a wild and sometimes terrifying transition - it's a young town and there's lots of amped up drivers on the road (75 in a 35 zone is going very slow). And it's gotten huge, so it's a bit like negotiating L.A.
But it's an adventure...and you know about Frodo and Sam and adventures...
I was supposed to babysit some of the kids you've seen in my pictures. Their mother asked me to go wake the littlest one from his nap.
He wasn't there. His big (8) sister was on his bed...and WK was hiding behind the door!
Vey hugh surprise. I was planning to drive down to Kalamazoo tomorrow to pick her up, and she came a day early.
Very well done. I've surprised her twice, and I had it coming.

If it's supposed to work out, it will.
LOL!
Corin, you da dwarf...
I think you did... :)
Hullo Scott, good to see you :~)
Chance is pretty fast with a tongue. And he's discovered he likes peeing on palm trees...he's less fond of trying it with barrell cactus and ocotillo though.
Hello, I'm back in the cyber-world again.
Been there, done that. ;~)
AND you were STILL able to get married. Amazing!
Hullo :~) Those surprises are good. I hope you had on clean underwear :~)
Well, on that note, I'm going to bed. Good night everyone.
Hmmm, guess I'm going to bed too.
Not that anyone else noticed.
:) The day will come, and not alone.
Clean underwear is a good thing regardless. Glad you had a nice surprise!
Are you up? Can you come over? Wanted to see if ~maybe~ if we bribed you with espresso you might throw some food at the horses tonight and tomorrow morning so we can go to the beach house for the night. :~) ~smiles sweetly~
Sure...I'll be over in a sec...
Well...we forgot to bring the camera and batteries. Oh well. They didn't allow cameras in the theater anyway. You didn't really want another picture of me stuffing my face at the restaurant, did you? :)
Fish and chips were good, but I think Tides was better. I guess Tides is closer to the source. Had a Guinness....mmmmmm....Guinness.
We did a poor job of shopping at the concert. By the time we went to visit "the table" all the books were gone and they had some CD's left. Figured I could get the CD's online.
The book had sheet music in it.
