Not sure what we're doing! We didn't really have any set plans, except to be back in Tacoma by five or so.

Thanks for calling about the van! That's most excellent!

Like I said, since a season is 24 hours, we don't have *time*!

So...I dunno.

My blog is worth $14,678.04.

Well, what season did you start him on? Maybe you can fast forward through the Kim parts and cut out several hours :~)

But I guess just being glued to the TV isn't much of a visit :~) Let me know if you want suggestions for things you can go do. Does he like wolves? You could go to Wolf Haven.

Wife and I just started (re) watching Season 1. (She came in mid-season 4, so we're catching her up).

I once again find myself praying for Kim to get all blowed up.

In other news in the "now I've seen everying department..."

Wife visited a school this morning. There's a sign in the office bathoom that says.

"Please refrain from pooping in this bathroom so we can keep it nice for visitors."

Um... and the sign is a lovely thing for visitors to read, isn't it?

Check the hardware drawer and also the big cream colored bowl on the counter for little nails. Just be warned that the walls themselves, being plaster, will repel all such nails.

I'm gonna go with the screws and drill plan, I decided after thinking about the plastery-ness of the walls.

Getting stuff together so I can go run errands now that I've had lunch. Just need to find the internet bill...

Matthew's ankles are messed up. I took him to the doctor yesterday and he verified my suspicions that his ankles aren't growing right.

I am taking him to a podiatrist to see what they can do about it and possibly an orthopedic.

Well, prayers you can get him straightened out. What is it you are seeing? You know Ramius had to wear a brace on his legs when he was about Matthews age.

His feet look ok, but it looks like to me that his ankles, especially his left one, is growing in and down...kinda on the inside of his arch!

Almost a year ago, he kept falling...he'd just be walking along and then WHAM! He'd just topple over! It hurt his ankle really bad too...but it was nothing a day or two of ibuprofen couldn't handle...no swelling or anything. But I bought him some high-top Chucks and that seemed to stop the problem of him falling.

Well, a couple of weeks ago he was standing right in front of me and I looked down and just was horrified with how it looked! So I was going to take him in to see the doctor when our family doctor just up and quit and moved away...so I had to get his info all switched over to a brand new doctor and when I finally got all that done, I took him in.

The first thing that doc did was inspect his shoes and he's got really unusual wear patterns on his shoes...

Matthew has never been very physically active...he runs slowly. The doctor said he likely has a subconscious distrust of his own feet! Then, as you know, we found out he loves to swim and I take him swimming almost every single day.

The doctor said that the chuck taylors and the swimming were the very best things I could've done...made me feel a little better.

Your instincts seem to be right on. Well, hopefully with some correctives he'll grow out of this. Best of luck (and good effort) for him.

That was nice of that doctor to allay your fears by giving you an 'atta girl'. But your instincts WERE right, after all! You don't mess around when it comes to your boys!
