Scott found it :)
Very freaky. I even approached a CHP officer in a small town mart at the next stop and asked him if it was a joke. He didn't know as the CHP didn't use those kinds of radios "on the job."
VERYYY cool, Scott :)
How do your fantasy team(-)s look this year?
I've been listening to different sports talk radio shows and they have ALL had officers call in and it seems that virtually every department has completely different procedures....
They are going ok.
I'm only losing in one league so far, because that team has Tomlinson and he hasn't played yet. The guy only has a 4 point lead on me and has no one playing.
I'm guessing none of them have the procedure where the off-duty officer follows the innocent victim (*cough*) home. ;-) I hear that's the defense working for Foley already.
I only got into the freeper pick'em league so far and one off-line suicide pool (and I'm still in the suicider with a NEW ORLEANS PICK! WOO HOO!). Tonight I picked MIN and SD.
I REALLY miss fantasy league play, but just didn't have time. :( (I live vicariously by reading these threads haha).
yeah...
Actually it sounds like a completely bad situation made worse by the fact that the cop alledgedly fired a "warning shot" into a bush or something like that.
Cops don't do that.
As Rome says, nothing good EVER happened to anyone at 3 AM.
yeah
I didn't do worth a crap this week with my NFL picks. But I've been spending so much time doing the college picks that I've not really sat down and looked at the NFL yet.
Nope. I was confused as to what that was about because I thought the convo we overheard was about the warning shot coming in re: Foley approaching the cop after the cop identified himself. But then I read somewhere there was some possibility the shot was fired when the girlfriend "revved" the car engine at the cop? Guess we can read about it at the trial.
DANG. He needed to catch that!
yeah but since when if revving an engine considered a threat?
Something really smells with that entire situation.
yeah he did...
He's already having a hell of a night.....
Oh creepsville. Cruise hanging with Snyder. I wonder if Snyder's been inducted yet?
*Sniff* I'm famous! :)
LOL
Did they say Snyder hired Cruise?
What was Kornheiser blabbering about?
Yep. Cruise is working with Snyder since being let go from Paramount due to his "unacceptable behavior".
