Paris Hilton was arrested in Hollywood early Thursday and charged with driving under the influence.
TMZ has learned LAPD officers noticed Paris driving her Mercedes McLaren SLR erratically at 12:31 AM and stopped her. They believed she exhibited signs of intoxication. We're told they administered a field sobriety test, and Paris blew a .08. In California, driving with a .08 blood alcohol level is the minimum level for DUI.
Paris was arrested and taken to the LAPD Hollywood division, where she was booked. The officers who stopped the car did not know it was Paris Hilton until they approached the vehicle on foot. Police sources say she was cooperative. Paris had a passenger in the car -- Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewart's daughter.

That's the score from the East German judge...
Follow the money,,,always follow the money.
99% of all drinking and driving problems are caused by people who are profoundly drunk. Therefore, let's lower the BAC level to the "got a slight buzz" group to address the problem.
And it grew into a .15, then quickly retreated to a .02.
This will only rise her standing amongst the glitteratti. I wouldn't be surprised if she did it on purpose. She has already done porn and drugs..and now she has been arrested. The only thing that she needs to do now in order to rocket to the absolute top is to have a baby with brad and one with tom. She would be adored...on the cover of all the mags and the talk of the town.....
At this point we have little information, maybe she did offer something.
Is it possible her level to have been 8.0 initially.
Because she has a jillion dollars, and that makes her BETTER than you and me.
Must suck to have the gangsta browser that forces you to open threads and holds a gun to your head while you read them.
That is one hot car.
I thought she said last week that she was not gonna have sex or drink alcohol for a year?? Riiiiiiiiiight!
We were screwing around with brethalyzers at a party once. I blew a 0.1 when I knew I was far, far too drunk to drive. If I had gotten behind the wheel, I would have been a hazard to everyone on the road.
The dangerous guy is the guy who thinks he can handle it because he has a lot of practice being drunk.
Never but never drive in Hollywood or West Hollywood between 10pm and 4am on a Th-F-S if you have even the slightest buzz. Crash on a friend's couch till dawn. There are more cops than cockroaches on the road. At dawn the cops seem to disappear and you can practically drive on the left without being bothered.
I don't have any particular like for her, don't watch her stuff, and don't find her any more attractive than dozens of other women I see every day. However, she got busted for .08. She should pay the fine, etc., but let's not get carried away in demonizing her for doing stuff a lot of Freepers probably do quite often. That doesn't excuse DUI, but it shouldn't be a hanging offense.
Is it just me, or is there a striking resemblance between the nose of the car and the nose of the girl?
(I realize that between the car and the girl, asking any of you guys to look above her neck is asking a lot!)
The dangerous guy is the guy who is wasted.
My point is about targeting the people who cause the vast majority of the problems. Lowering the level did nothing to address the problem.
I didn't mention one of the biggest problem groups, repeat offenders and those driving without a license because it has been suspended or revoked. Such drivers should be jailed, and they typically are not.
At 0.1, you are impaired. You might think that you are not, but you are.
Because she can afford a $450,000 car.
(All societies give breaks to people who can afford $450,000 cars.)
Yeah, she's the "girl next door" if you live next to a bordello.
Who the heck said they weren't?
No, I see her on magazine covers, commercials, awards shows, and she still hasn't displayed on iota of talent.
Why is she showing up on FreeRepublic? Her contributions to a conservative society occured while she was in diapers.
I simply DO NOT understand the infatuation with her.
