Hi nocarrier and welcome to FR. The forum does not have an introduce yourself section (it might be a good idea). It was good to read about you and as an ex art-school type I can understand your situation.
I am a Christian Pastor now and if anyone wants to come under the Christian cultural banner that is ok with me (though I would rather you were a Christian because we would both be heaven bound).
The 'zot' images (of cats) are probably not to be taken too seriously. You will be made most welcome I am very sure).
