I was just at Publix supermarket here in Florida and picked up a package National Deli Premium Beef Franks. They are $1.99 but with the yellow Dollar Off coupon right on the package, it comes out to only 99 cents per package. This deal has been going on for about 3 weeks. Okay, National Deli might not be the best hot dogs out there but they are better than most so it is a very good bargain.

Which brings me to the REAL purpose of this Bargain Hut thread. I would like to see it as a running thread in which Freepers post retail bargains they find at grocery stores or department stores plus their geographical location. This would provide a great benefit since it would allow us to quickly find the latest bargains. And when I say bargain, I mean REAL bargains. Not lame 10% off stuff.

So go ahead and post any retail bargains you find in this thread. Then check back frequently to easily find the good deals. In my own case I would love for someone to keep us updated on the latest Albertson's meat deals. They often have good Buy One, Get One Free meat packs but since Publix is nearer to me, I am often too lazy to check it out at Albertson's.

I was going through the movie bin at my local Save A Lot a few weeks ago and found for a dollar on VHS "9/11" the documentary done by the two French brothers.

At Dollar General, a neighbor of mine found on VHS the entire "Band of Brothers" series for ten bucks. They were out by the time I got there. Still checking.

Circuit City has bins selling some DVD titles for $3.99. Picked up "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", "Dazed And Confused", "Carlito's Way" and some others titles I may have wanted, but not at full price.

I would as well! I think we should also post where we find good deals for Internet sales, like Fat Wallet Hot Deals forum. Also the Anandtech forum. I've saved a ton of money looking through there. For computer parts and 'lectronics, theres Price Watch.

Thanx. What was the thrust of that 9/11 documentary? Was that the one where the French guy was filming a fire station that day and then switched to the terrorist attack when it happened? If so, that is a good bargain.

Sure go ahead. Post away. We need a CENTRAL location to find the good bargains and HERE it is. One person can't be expected to find all the great bargains on his own but by posting those bargains in this thread we can find them here.

Our Ross For Less is cleaner and neater. Maybe because its located in one of the better parts of town.
