New page, woohoo!
"Cry vanity! Let slip the French Poodles of Toz!"
It could work.

Slightly better maybe --- Oh the humanity! The french poodles of TOZ!
Almost cut my hair
It happened just the other day
It's gettin kinda long
I coulda said it wasn't in my way
But I didn't and I wonder why
I feel like letting my freak flag fly
Cause I feel like I owe it to someone
Must be because I had the flu' for Christmas
And I'm not feeling up to par
It increases my paranoia
Like looking at my mirror and seeing a scar
But I'm not giving in an inch to fear
Cause I missed myself this year
I feel like I owe it to someone
When I finally get myself together
I'm going to get down in that sunny southern weather
And I find a place inside to laugh
Separate the wheat from the chaff
I feel like I owe it to someone
I've found the soap and water solution will kill nearly any kind of wasp. In Texas, the only kind of wasps that live in the ground are hornets and the big black ones that kill large spiders.
Don't, I repeat, Don't use a bunch of highly toxic insecticides on your yard. You will kill the 'good' bugs along with the bad and kill a number of other creatures along it's flow.
Sorry Eva but, women tend to over do killing things they think are icky.
Naw, the liver is evil and IT needs to be punished.
Love your post #45...porches are the most wonderful things arent they...
Just think of them as defenders of the grass, how would you like it, if someone kept running a lawnmower over you?
I didn't plan it, but when I built this house eleven years ago, I happened to set it so that the corner of the porch (the best seating area, where the wicker is) gets an almost constant breeze during the heat of the day ["L" shaped porch, seven feet wide; nearly fifty square feet at the corner]. Before I stopped smoking, that was where I took my smoke breaks.
Sounds lovely...we dont have a porch, at all...just a stoop in the front, and a patio in the back yard...I miss a porch...I learned all about my dads relatives when we would go back east, and he would tell tales of the family shenanigans...my great grandmother had a huge front porch, and 12 children, and they went on to produce a boatload of kids and so on down the line...on any given day, large numbers of my relatives from all the different generations could be found there, relating tales...some of my best memories are of my time, spent on that front porch...
