This is really no different than the people who still theorize over what happened to Amelia Earhart, who killed JFK or who kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.

Obviously there are things (in all these cases) that we dont know - but going off of what we do know, it's fair to make a guess.

Over the years, I've read four books on the Kennedy assassination and have been to Dealey Plaza twice. I don't consider myself to be a fan of "bloodsport".

Did you publicly accuse family members of horribly committing one of the most demented and heinous acts that could be imagined for your own amusement?

I didn't think so.

Parents lost their child in the worst way that anyone could imagine, in addition, they have been accused my people who couldn't possibly know of doing one of the most despicable acts that ever occurred. Their lives were ruined and pain must be unbearable. All for the prurient amusement of unthinking people.

If they did it, they deserve it, but in this case, it's without a trial. Actually, without even an accusation.

Grand juries are rubber stamp machines, and as unsympathetic as these people were when this happened, even they wouldn't ACCUSE them, much less convict them.

So, there is a big difference between Kennedy and Earhart. A very big one.

The BDA in charge of the case now (cops have been out of it for years) said there is nothing left that has not been put out in the public domain.

In fact, that's what enabled Karr to do what he did. He knew stuff that most case followers know, but the DA didn't! She even said that Patsy gave the bracelet to JonBenet for Christmas, which is only half the story.

It was a gift from JonBenet's Aunt Pam, in a set with the necklace she had on when she died, as well. And Patsy let JonBenet open it on 12/23 at the children's Christmas party, as an early gift.

I don't expect Mary Lacy to know these things herself - I hope she's busier than that - but someone on her staff *should* know these things, so that people like Karr can't pull the wool over their eyes, as he did.
