The Van Halen guitarist has partnered with an adult film director to write and perform two songs for one of his upcoming, um, films.
Eddie Van Halen has teamed up with adult video director Michael Ninn to write and perform two songs for his upcoming Ninn Worx production, Sacred Sin. The rocker makes no excuses for his decision to work in the adult industry. "I'm working with a friend -- very simple," Van Halen told adult site AVN.com. "I like his work. Michael Ninn is like a Spielberg to me: the imagery, the way he makes things look, just...sensual." To Ninn's "sensual" cinematography, Van Halen will add two tracks tracks, "Rise" and "Catherine," the latter of which is a remix of the theme to a Ninn film of the same name and has "a 'Kashmir'-Led Zeppelin kind of feel to it now," Ninn told AVN.
Sacred Sin, which Ninn said is aimed at the "couples market," will be available on Sept. 13 and will feature music videos for both Van Halen songs. But Van Halen fans who prefer their sex tapes soft-core needn't worry: Ninn is also cutting a non-explicit version of the movie which will be called Rise. No release date has been set.
Man oh man, how far Eddie's fallen. For those of us in our late 30s or so, Eddie Van Halen was a rock god of the highest order - bringing musical innovation in equipment and tuning along with his hard-charging riffs. (The guy even has a patent!)
But now this, along with the fact that he's the very picture of a meth-head. Ugh. No wonder Valerie Bertinelli didn't want to hang around that. Frankly, Eddie Van Halen is on my deadpool list for 2007....
I like the "couples market" term - that's a new one!
Eddie now:
Sad. He has a 14 year old son.
This is sad, looking at that picture the phrase "dirty old man" comes to mind.
Lucky for his son, his mom (Valerie) seems to have her act together.
Is that for the D-Tuna?
Eddie hasn't aged too well.
Fantastic guitarist... A lot of hard miles.
Yup - that means "right hand and left hand"!
How old is he?
Lucky for us he's not acting in the film!
born January 26, 1955
Oh, yeah, another thing: I saw the "clean" music video from this movie. It is really whacked out, with priests with bleeding mouths ranting while Eddie's wailing away on a pile of broken down TV sets. If I'm ever a member of a "couple" that even remotely gets their rocks off on that, I would bolt like like lightning out of that relationship!
Worst of all, the music is horrible! At least with the porn I've seen, the music is generally fun!
In case you miss the video. ;)

Call me brain-dead! LOL

One of the things that Eddie really, really liked, Ninn said, was the theme from Catherine. He did a remix, it still carries the melody, but its got a Kashmir-Led Zeppelin kind of feel to it now. A very, very powerful piece of music.
He said Van Halen was absolutely elated with the track, and the rocker himself confirmed, If Catherine doesnt move you, youre brain-dead.
Is that for the D-Tuna?
I'm not sure about the D-tuna, but since Eddie was so big on two-handed guitar techniques, he invented a support that flips out from the bottom of the guitar that lets you kind-of play it like a piano.
I cannot think of a more over-rated guitar player. All his tricks were ripoffs of other guitar players. Ask Robert Fripp.
And you are???
