There is no drug-testing policy on the PGA Tour, and when Tiger Woods called for one this week at the Bridgestone Invitational, no one should have been surprised, according to Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg of IMG.
"There's a lot out there right now, with BALCO, the cycling and the sprinters, so what he's saying is, 'Start with golf, start with me. I'm clean and I think the sport's clean,' " Steinberg said Friday.
" 'If people are speculating about golf, let's get it over now.' "

Hey, hadn't seen you on the forums in a while. How's it been going? I read a couple of years ago that Woods benches over 300, and that he was changing the game because he does a weightlifting and running routine. Up until Tiger, few golfers did anything except golf for exercise.
Is he on drugs? No idea. If he wanted to squash the rumors, he could get some respected organization to do testing on him and report the results.

I would not trust the PGA to conduct the testing as revenue asssociated with Woods has made many people in the organization wealthy.

Take some roids before your tee time...may improve your game like it has your heroes.
my favorite golfer if Mickelson. Must suck to be you again....
Thanks for all the research on the shot....I could give a rip about it. just figured I'd stir you up.
Whatever. You had to see the PGA say it before your stupid ASSumptions went away.
BTW, I played 12 holes today before we got rained out. Out of those 12 holes, there were 7 that I would normally use my driver on. I was in the fairway on each one and over 290 yards each and every time. Guess I'm on the roids too.....

With the year I've had out there, I better not talk. Mens league team was dead last.

Sorry to hear that. My friend and I are in 3rd place at the moment. Last year we were 16th out of 18 teams....
Lessons did me good. I've always been great with the driver, but around the green is where I've had issues. This year instead of having to three putt my way around a green I'm down to an average of 2.2-ish (it's 2.21) putts per hole.
I was having a good day today I will admit that. I was +1 on because I was trying to make a 148 par 3 with my wedge over water and didn't.....

We spend too much time warming up in the 19th hole with swing oil to do well in league. Have seen a pro as well looking for general swing consistencies. Have been playing awhile and its still a huge roller coaster. Nine holes a week during the summer will not lead to much improvement though.

No it won't.
It showed today too. I've been able to get in about 4 rounds a week for the past 2 months.
My handicap has gone down bigtime as my feel around the greens improved.

You're probably right about Woods on Steroids. There's no way he has the time or dicipline to exercise or the money to afford a nutrionist and personal trainer to maximize his work-outs.
180lbs and ripped? Yeah, gotta be steroids.
To: socal_parrot
There is the issue of them taking downers while actually playing to keep their heart rates lower and calming their nerves while making that pressure putt. No kidding, it ain't all about bulk and power.

Woods is 210 if he's an ounce.

I think those are the beta blockers & they have been around awhile according to some of the players.

You Sir are incorrect. There is zero chance Tiger Woods is anywhere close to 210. I was ten yards away from him at the Buick Open. He's fit, but certainly not on steroids. It seems that you have some sort of issue with him. I won't guess why, but give it a rest; you have zero evidence to back the smear campaign you insist on propelling.

This article says it all....kind of like Bill Clinton getting on TV saying "I did not have sex with that woman"
