DURHAM, N.C. On March 21, a week after an African-American woman charged that she had been raped by three white Duke University lacrosse players, the police sergeant supervising the investigation met with the sexual-assault nurse who had examined the woman in the emergency room. The sergeant, Mark D. Gottlieb, reviewed the medical report, which did not say much: some swelling, no visible bruises.

Besides, as I pointed out, even here in Nirvana where the cops are all perfect, they usually lie about why they shot and killed a motorist by saying "he tried to run me over".
It's just an excuse ~ kind of like claiming you sneezed after you sideswipe a couple of dozen cars parked along a road.
It's the old "act of God" thing but with a new, blue dress.
Frequently medicine is now available to alleviate many of the symptoms. Can't imagine why anyone would mix any of that stuff with alcohol but they do, and she does.
She's a whack job ~ nuttier than a fruitcake ~ all of which is evident from her criminal track record, her occupation, and what her friends have to say about her ~ and you want me to think she's just running a con.
I'd suggest you get out more often; maybe volunteer at your local mental health outpatient clinic. Lots of folks coming in there need really basic help because being bipolar or depressed, or having certain neurological impairments can, combined with the medication administered to treat the symptoms, can make your life darned difficult ~
Here -----> ANSWER.com says about Psychosis = Any disorder of higher mental processes of such severity that judgments pertaining to the reality of external events are significantly impaired.
A wide range of conditions can bring about a psychotic state. They include schizophrenia, mania, depression, ingestion of drugs, withdrawal from drugs, liver or kidney failure, endocrine disorders, metabolic disorders, and Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, and other neurologic dysfunctions.
The dreams of normal sleep are a form of psychosis.
Early in the case, Dukies noted that you had to be very careful when going into Durham -- everybody had horror stories of Duke students venturing into the city alone. I really don't think of Durham as a bad place but a typical medium sized town that did not adjust from the collapse of the tobacco and textile industries in the early 1980s. I understand things have gotten better recently but it is not a place students should venture into without someone else.
Please, stop with the helpless Crystal routine.
We are all presumed able to form intent. In adults, it is only when a mental defect is so severe, which neither bipolar nor depression are, but severe retardation or insanity would be, that the actor is deemed incapable of forming the requisite intent.
If Crystal's life is difficult, it's because she made it that way with bad judgment.
Mua is just another deluded lefty trying to find a way to excuse this despicable woman's conduct. He tries to do that by claiming that her bipolar condition means she should be excused from exercising the reasonable restraint and judgment the rest of us adhere to.
*SHRUG*
Then you agree that there are no known reasons why Crystal should be excused from knowing right from wrong.
Thank you.
Mental illness is not a question of moral judgment.
Just checking your recent posts, to see if I could figure out whether or not you agree with the racist statements, since you keep refusing to answer. Should I take this post as your answer?
You asked me if I agreed with some excerpts of an ABC video. I told you that I don't watch ABC videos. Not for me or for you. OK?
You form your opinions from the information sources you choose I'll do the same. OK?
Do I think that people should be free to advocate racial segregation in marriage and social circumstances? Is that your question? If so, why do you care what I think?
I only care what you think to the extent that I like to know when I'm dealing with a racist. I'd prefer a straight answer over your word games, but you've answered the question in your own little way.
