Ramsey suspect's mother tried to kill him

ATLANTA, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- The mother of a man who claims to have killed JonBenet Ramsey tried to kill him when he was very young, a friend of the family said in Georgia.

George McCrary, who says he has known Wexford Karr, father of suspect John Karr, for 40 years, said the suspect's mother, Patricia Elaine Adcock, "made a big round donut (of kindling) and put him in the middle of it" when he was a baby, ABC News reported Tuesday.

"She just boxed the little baby in and tried to light it," McCrary said, but John's older brother Michael "came running in just before she got the flame to the flammable material."

Adcock was committed to a mental institution and the marriage broke up. She died in 2000.

To be fair, Tom..at first we were all excited when Boulder DA announced that they had sort of finally found Jon Benet's killer. After 10 years at that!

So now, it looks like it's all a case of a a pervert crying "wolf"..and we should turn our backs on this story.

But keep in mind, Court TV, Greta and Nancy make their living off of "who done its"..WE can tune it out.

Yes. Iran is threatening to blow up the world. Islamo-terrorists are trying to blow up planes and trains and buildings and people. We have two major wars still going on in Afghanistan and Iraq. But the MSM is stuck on a 10-year-old murder case I had to agree with, of all people, Neil Gabler on News Watch. He said the media had gone crazy over this story and spent way too much air/print time on it. [First time I ever, ever agreed with Gabler on anything.].

I read somewhere that the Ramsey's had an "open house" and the general public was invited to walk through and view their Christmas decorations. The Ramseys served egg nog to the people who walked through the house.

Have no clue whatsoever where I read that, but it was very recent. I'd never heard this before. There was some conjecture that someone on this tour hid in the house. They still can't put Karr at the scene unless the DNA matches.
