In my experience as a bodyman/painter,I have found that painted DeLoreans are usually the result of an accident.Parts are hard to come by,and the price to pay for them is not chump change.A vin number check could tell a lot of the history of the car.

Quite a few people
painted their DeLoreans. They got tired of the stainless steel finish, which is so hard to keep immaculate, especially after a ding or dent.

But how can he rot in a Thai prison when he is charged with no crime in Thailand? The Thais only arrested him at the behest of the US government on US crimes. There is no potential Thai prison involved in this.
