Since the prof the alleged perp was corresponding with was a big Ramsey supporter, I'd be very careful about this 'til the DNA comes in.

CNN might think this is a scoop, but I heard it on the radio yesterday.

10 years is a lot of time for details to leak. Especially when someone has spent much of that time digging for info.
In any case, we shall see.

Condition of the body. WTH does THAT mean?
Something that the police or pathologists did not notice?

With the age of the case and the guy being a real case junkie, that isn't as strong an indicator as it might be while the crime was fresh. There is a ton of stuff written and discussed already, some by ex-investigators. I wonder how much they leaked when trying to establish their insider rep. Also, while knowing non-public details flags the need for follow up, getting other things wrong is a much stronger flag.

Who cares!
Just toast this guy, and let's stop hearing all about JonBenet.
The cable networks will have to reprogram their future and take the 10,000 hours to be devoted to JonBenet's mystery, and we all get a breather.

that have never been made public Keep in mind that this is the Boulder Police and DA's Office we are talking about here. The protectors of the People's Republic of Boulder haven't been exactly impressive in this case. They have been infected with "leak" disease right from the start. If this guy was as obsessed with the case as some think, I can imagine him possibly coming across some information that wasn't *supposed* to be public.

A U.S. law enforcement official tells CNN that the man held in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey offered details about the condition of her body that have never been made public. YAWN! As was discussed on Hannity... he talked in detail to the relatives, under the guise of writing a book. He WOULD KNOW details not available/released to the public.

According to CNN, he's given a lot of bad information too. He said that he picked JonBenet up from school that day, but school was closed for Christmas vacation. He claimed he drugged her and they didn't find drugs in her body. He claims her death was an accident but she died of strangulation. His ex-wife says he was in Georgia at the time of the murder.
I'm waiting for DNA. His story is too unreliable to make any conclusion one way or the other.

if past is any prelude there will be "breaking news - ramsey case" every day, every hour, near every quarter-hour, day-after-day-after-day-after-day. Unless something comes up in the Natalie Hollaway case. Then that will be be "breaking".
