If he knew Patsy was dying, and he most likely did, that would explain his timing for trying to contact her. He wanted her to know. There wasn't much time left to continue the game, and he wanted to be a major part of the end of Patsy's life. I'm glad she never knew who he was. He's sitting back gloating because he thinks he's corresponding with Patsy. He thinks he has that last bit of control at the end of her life. It's great that it was a scam on him by the police. The only thing she knew was that there was a suspect that wanted to meet her. That didn't happen thank goodness, and now he knows that Patsy didn't even know his name.
How does anyone know if the heart was drawn by the killer or by JonBenet herself or by a girlfriend at the party the family attended?
Let me tell you this....My son is artistic. He often writes fanciful when doing personal correspondence and it's printed. I do the same.
Karr switches mid stream...From talking about her to talking about himself....He changes the printing type in the course of that switch.
There's some REAL sarcasm in Tara's part (Unlike your loving sister)
Those are important questions that have to be answered. I'm wondering if the DA already has the answers. I'm also wandering if the answers are coming in now that people know who he is. If not, they don't have much of a case.
Are there any centers of TROP in Boulder?
My God, we had Shawcross in the city next to me. Once he started talking, it was like no big deal to him....It would make everyone ill. He enjoyed telling all. Sick B******.
Henry Lee Lucas admitted to killing untold number of people. Some it was proven he did indeed kill. Others LE gave him credit just to clear their cases. But many he confessed to killing because of his fantasies and/or to keep himself from being executed as long as possible. I hate to say it but this is looking like it might be taking the same course.
I'll bet Walsh is helping them. He's sooo good. He knows what produces tips.
Very interesting.
I don't think anyone knows. Apparently the heart was already faded on her hand at the time of death so it was probably drew on there a day before so by Jonbenet or a friend playing with markers or something like that.
I think in the next few days if Karr is not charged with Jonbenet's murder and they release him to CA(where he will probably serve time) than we all will know that Karr is not the guy. If the opposite happens and he is charged with her murder, than I think the DA knows he did it and we can be rest assured he is the guy. I think the DA knows for sure by now if Karr was with his family in 1996 or not and she likely knows many other things as well.
I don't know if they do. The heart was reported in the description of her body at the crime scene.
I don't know if it was her left hand, or right hand. If she was right handed, and it was on her left palm, being upside down when the arm is relaxed, it was probably her. If it was on the hand that she writes with, and right side up, then it was most likely someone else. It could have been anyone though.
I think they are just waiting for him to get his feet back in the States. They don't need anyone taking potshots at him by some person that might feel justified. They still have a commercial flight ahead of them.
The minute he gets back into US protective custody they might then release more information. But this is just a guess.
Last night, CNN I think, was interviewing an ex-cop who said she had been strangled, then hit on the head, and strangled with the garrot. He also said the strangling didn't leave bruises so it was done very slowly and deliberately. With her skull cracked, who knows if she was still alive by that time.
Teddy Bear? Heart? He seemed real upset by the Teddy Bear picture. Did a family member provide it on a "hunch"?
Karr didn't "love her" in any way. The heart was his "mark". Just like the Note was "his mark"....rambling....just like in the yearbook.
But there's NO evidence of this yet. Why has nobody come forward to say "We had this guy with us that Christmas to babysit and/or tutor for us up here in Boulder...". It took the media no time at all to find this creep's ex-wife and brother. But, so far, not one Coloradan has come forward to say "yes, I remember that guy", much less "yes, he was here with us that Christmas".
The local media has had 10 years to turn up every possible stone about this case. Don't you think the police have already hunted down almost everyone John had working for him to make at least a casual account for where they were at the time of the murder?
I'm more inclined to believe this sick little twerp, obsessed with perhaps the biggest "trophy" in the pedophile world and, wanting to build his "cred" within the underground, has deluded himself into believing he was there when the murder took place when, in reality, he was nowhere close to it. He wants desperately to be somebody important (Lee Harvey Oswald Syndrome) and this is his way of getting the attention he *thinks* he deserves. And, knowing that, I think he would have given himself away long before now if he truly had JBR's death on his conscience. I don't think he would have sat on it for 10 years.
Of course, I have no proof either. It's always dangerous to try to apply logic when dealing with kooks. So we have to wait for some physical evidence to come forward and, as yet, we have nothing connecting him to the crime scene - or to the Ramseys - pre-1996.
We're sleuthing, going back in time trying to make a perfect puzzle that fits "our concept".
We're getting a little bit of history on the guy...very little. We need the rest of the pieces.
I would think there were a lot of relatives AND NEIGHBORS at the Christmas time festivities. They should have ALL jumped to the foreground. Didn't happen. The fact that they've gone quiet really, really means a lot.
Hi...can you start a daily thread on this...a posting with the date listed?
I wish the parents hadn't made her up to be a tarted beauty-queen publicity whore!
Hope you get my point.
