The guy got busted in Thailand on some sex crime. He did not want to spend the rest of his life in some Thai prison so he copped to this. I'm not saying he didn't do it but I think he chose prison in the U.S. over prison in Thailand.

Here it goes again. He was busted and in prison in Thailand because of a CALIFORNIA crime and at the request of US authorities. He is not charged with a crime in Thailand. Jeeez...

True..let's face it.. there are NO sex crimes in Thailand because practically everything is legal! This guy was staying in an area that was big in the sex trade and child prostitution.

LOL, good luck. We try them in the press and convict them in the blogs. I've seen dozens of posts that he was jailed on a sex crime in Thailand.  I don't think there IS such a thing as a sex crime in Thailand. He was arrested at his apartment.

People hear what they want to hear and disregard those things which do not fit with the preconception. This info has been posted a zillion times, but its inconvenient to absorb it.
