JonBenet Ramsey D.A.: More Work Needed
ASSOCIATED PRESS
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The district attorney in the JonBenet Ramsey slaying says there is "much more work" to be done in the case against the suspect and she is warning the public not to "jump to conclusions."

Other troublesome words: "superior", corporate executives".
hobby - "acting" That's what we saw when when we heard him speak. Could see him go back and forth from tense to relaxed. Tony Perkins lives!!
It's a small world, isn't it? Sounds like you met him because the similarities are too coincidental to be explained, imo.
"Bath does stick out like a sore thumb. Doesn't even make sense to put it in??"
It's probably there for his own jollies.
First thought - notify authorites, the timeline might be important.
It may or may not have been him, but if it was, it could help trace his steps.
eerie...
Yeah, sure, right. District Attorneys always know what they're doing, especially in high-profile cases. That's why the McMartin family, Michael Jackson, and the entire Duke lacrosse team are in prison now. </industrial strength sarcasm>
Ah, standards. There don't seem to be any, anymore.
would chloroform appear in a toxicology screening? wouldn't the application of it around her nose and mouth be detectable at autopsy? Michael Baden will be all over this on Greta tonight.
Unlike you,I believe that the overwhelming majority of those charged with serious crimes are guilty. Not all of them but pretty close to that.
The very fact that you're pledging full cooperation and keeping that pledge would be noticed by the cops and the prosecutor.Volunteering to give the cops the biological samples they might want...volunteering to come down to headquarters whenever the cops want to talk...giving the cops full and unlimited access to your house, your office, your papers....not being nervous as you're being questioned would tend to make cops think you're not guilty.
And if you should be (wrongfully) charged,*then* you get the lawyer.
Sounds like the same guy...I suggest you contact Boulder PD...you may have info they need...
YUP! She can't talk about the evidence because there is no solid evidence.
This disturbed individual, John Karr, is the perfect scapegoat. He's obviously gay, mentally ill, and has a child porn rap. No one is going to rush to his defense. He will plead guilty, and go to jail for the rest of his life, which will not be for very long, judging from the look of him.
I may try to watch Greta tonight, something I don't typically do, because that's a really good question about the chloroform.
Also, if the reports are right, that the broken basement window (it had been broken for a while) was covered in undisturbed cobwebs, then Karr is lying that he gained access to the house that way.
All I've seen is press reports quoting the Thai general as saying that Kerr said that. Did you see Kerr say that on video?
And Kerr could also mix lies with truth to impeach his "confessions".
This is another case that will be tried by the media but decided by jury on the DNA (if they ever prosecute).
yes, but there is a flip side to that. if my child was kidnapped, and I knew I didn't do it, it would infuriate me that the first 48-72 hours of the investigation - would be focused on ME, and not having the police out there looking for my kid while there was still some chance of finding them alive.
"Hmm, I just reached it. Strange (just like him - would you put giving little girls a bath on your reseme?)"
No. Sick, just sick.
I haven't seen Karr say that on video and we all know the media gets lots of things wrong. As do DA's who may well want to use this clearly delusional individual as a scapegoat.
And I say delusional because he told his family he was arrested for the murder of Ramsey in 2001 when clearly he was arrested for child pornography charges.
Think this guy is a "sicko" AND a "repeater".
I saw him and heard him say that on TV.
The Autopsy Report (which anyone can read on thesmokinggun.com) says there were no drugs in her system.
This guy is definitely delusional.
DENVER (KUSA) - 9NEWS legal analyst Scott Robinson believes there are still too many questions about the suspect, John Mark Karr, to feel confident about conviction.
