I don't know if not asking somehow makes you exempt from criminal or civil damages, do you?

They sure don't seem to represent anywhere these people could have criminal records.

I haven't yet read hire these people at your own risk anywhere either.

No. What bothers me is that they did not do a background check themselves. As a company that deals with the education of children they should automatically screen their educator applicants for criminal histories.

The owner of the site has exposed themselves to a lawsuit. As we are chatting about this, the owners of the company are calling their lawyers and insurance company.

I looked the site over too and couldn't see anything about a background check. I keep thinking about his resume and him saying he took care of all the little baby's needs. She'd be too young to talk if he did anything disgusting with her.

If the company knew about his background and simply did nothing about it they will be both civil and criminal liable, I think.

Not my real info of course! Just stuff about pedophile who loves children to death, needs work! I gave them an ear-full about not doing background checks.
