An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

Yes you are probably right. I’ve heard the golf (which I love to play) and the beaches are great, many of the people very friendly and I do love Thai food, but I can have all that right here at home. Of course then I also know how to avoid the seedier aspects here in the Baltimore area, and there are plenty of those (LOL) – But I also know where they are and what to look out for. I have plenty of street smarts but I don’t know how that translates to a place like Bangkok. I guess, as in any foreign country, it takes some research and perhaps a friendly well trusted local guide is the smart thing.
I’ve just read too many strange and disturbing stories about Thailand, especially involving the sex trade, kidnappings and terrorism to make me think it’s not the vacation destination for me. I also don’t want to vacation in Lebanon, Cuba,Sri Lanka or Mexico outside of the well protected all inclusive resorts, even if the beaches and the food is great.
But hey if you’re ever in Baltimore and need a local guide to keep you out of trouble, look me up (smile).

The guy's probably in jail already in Thailand, and due to be hung or whatever. If he's brought back here for Benet's death, the silly attorney's will see to it that he goes free. Which is better, he pays for his crime in Thailand, or comes here where spineless attorneys set him free to commit another series of crimes?

The sicko who killed John Walsh's son, Adam, would do the same thing. He taunted him for years with letters, but would never give enough info for the cops to pin the crime on him or would just say he made it all up.

Usually because child killers/molesters are (sadly) kept out of the general population. When they are on the general pop. and their crime becomes known to other inmates, they usually aren't treated well.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. I didn't even remotely imply that JonBenet "deserved" to be killed for any reason.
