An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.
Stand by for details and updates as they come in.
That is of course sad. And we do weep for the ones we hear about. If we knew of a poor little girl in Uganda being raped every week by her grandfather in a small village, we'd cry for her too. We simply can't know all the horrible things that are going on in the world and we cry for the ones that do get reported.

You are right, no "sane" mother would do that. My suspicions may very well be wrong. They aren't really even suspicions...they are more like theories. That doesn't mean I hang my hat on them. Don't get upset, I'm not blaming Patsy Ramsey. Just speculating like everyone else.

it may well be that Patsy Ramsey had been fully dressed before she realized Jon Benet was missing ... I really never followed the case that closely.
But as to the clothing, more than once, especially during the holidays or vacation, I will throw on the same thing in the morning that I'd worn the night before, then eventually get dressed for the new day. The only guilt that would associate with is being lazy, and that's not all bad.
From that weak thread, I would never accuse anyone of murder, much less the murder of their own child.

As a 30-year old single male who played football in high school, I thought about coaching kids football. But I decided not to in part because a guy in my town was arrested for molesting a kid he coached. I don't want to be tainted by the profession, even if it's only something people wonder in the back of their minds.
