The pixie-faced Miss Virginia wuz robbed! She was more natural in her responses, had more enthusiasm, and stuttered or balked not once in her interview. But Miss Montana had the bigger boobs so she won.
America .... what a country !!! :)
Can't see why this post is of any interest to anyone on FR, with the possible exception of someone who might have a relative or friend in the competition.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
(I honestly didn't even know this competition was occuring. Thank Heavens I checked into FR tonite or I'd never have known.)

We just like to piss off the fat chicks, and the guys with beards that drive economy cars.
No one made you check on this thread. If you are not interested, read something else.
are you kidding? this is Stephen Hawking brain teaser material compared to some stuff.
MamaB,
Did you mean to bring up last years contest?????
I just watched the finally of the 2007 Teen USA, and it wasn’t Montana. :)
I just noticed that to, I’m replying to someone from a year ago. its like a wormhole, or a rip in the fabric of time.
You should hear from them by next year.
Glad to know someone else did the same thing. I saw part of it while I was changing channels but I did not want to watch to see who won. I just typed in Miss USA in the search place and the one that came up was the old one. Guess it would pay to notice the date!!!! Who won?
They all looked WAY older than their ages- until they spoke.
Good grief- I cringed for South Carolina! Maps? South Africa? The question was why don’t so many American teens know where the US is on a map.
She opened her mouth and illustrated the answer.

North Carolina was bubbly and looked like the winner- until she spoke.
Colorado looked like the winner from the beginning to me, then she sounded intelligent and more mature in the question segment and I knew she had it.

Talk about a revived thread. This was from last year. I guess 2007 happened tonight. :-)
