CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -- A naked man attacked a Cape Girardeau police officer and tried go to grab his gun before officers used a stun gun to subdue him.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon as police responded to a call of an attempted break-in at a trailer park, police spokesman Jason Selzer said. At the scene, police spotted the naked man walking.
As an officer was getting out of his car, the 52-year-old man walked toward the squad car and grabbed the officer, slamming him into the side of the vehicle.
The officer fired his stun gun, but the assailant kept attacking, grabbing at the officer's neck. When the two fell to the ground, the man attempted to grab the officer's handgun, Selzer said.

Thanks.
I gave up watching it - S.O.S., different day.
Big deal. Sully alerted the mods to your wholesale insults, you called JimRob on someone who "aggrieved" you. I didn't realize we were back in kindergarden. The point is, your reaction to someone else was completely uncalled for

Then Sully tried to defuse the situation with humor, for which you attacked, again in an unwarranted manner. However, you are obviously in a spot in your life where apparently anything done or posted by (what you perceive to be) a male is offensive

Actually, since my divorce, I was thinking of moving into that same mobile home park. I have since changed my mind.
LOL

But it's become obvious you are not going to take anything in the spirit in which it is directed at you.
I find it offensive for a man to tell me to calm myself when I am not agitated, bur merely aggrieved. In fact, I find that men who try to portray women as hysterical....are just trying to make themselves macho men. Are you one?
First of all, what does my gender have to do with anything? Really...I mean, I personally find it offensive when a woman attacks me for trying to help, only to discover there is a bad case of man-hate lingering under the surface, but that's a completely different matter. Secondly, you were clearly agitated, although not hysterical. However, your reactions have bordered on the unhinged.
Having said that, may I suggest you seek some help...really, I mean it. It is quite obvious from your posts today that you have some serious issues going on in your personal life, and Uriah, Sully and I are simply targets of opportunity. I will make sure to include you in my prayers, because there is nothing else I can do for you as a human.
But I mean it...seek help...your local clergy is there for you. This ends any further correspondence I have with you...God Bless.
I watch COPS for the same reason I used to watch Jerry Springer...they remind me that, no matter how bad my life gets, there's always someone who's worse off and has no problem showing it off to the world!
If you listened to the show (and had a sense of humor) you'd know that just a couple of weeks ago, Rush was joking about his brother wandering the streets of Cape G naked.
Thus: funny.
Get a life. I happen to love Rush, and his brother.
It's customary to ping the person to whom you refer.
and thanks. I'm a huge Rush fan (Even wore black the day he married -- he is so sexy!) and would never say anything hurtful about him on purpose.
I was kidding.
Kidding I was.
Geez
Rush is talking about this now. Says he was worried when he saw the story. Thought it was about his brother.
I heard it. Laughed my butt off.
Rush was funny too
She. Imma girl.
;-)
and probably a good looking one too. =o)
lol. Your profile is very short
Still no coffee. ;-)
So here I am, to say, I was dead wrong last night.
I've been listening to Rush since '89, but he is nowhere near as good as he once was, so I don't listen all of the time, as I used to. I guess I missed his earlier reveries about his meandering brother, but I heard it today.
Even when Rush said, it wasn't really "funny", but hey....whatever tickles your funny-bone.
Unfortunately, I wished for an edit button as soon as I posted. The "get a life" comment was out of line, but you DID jump to a conclusion.
How about a "we both screwed up" moment? FR is bursting at the seams these days with people who just seem to have no sense of humor...and very thin skin. I didn't appreciate your comment, and reacted out of turn.
There. Nuff said.
I'm gonna go take a shower...
(that's FR humor, by the way..)
;-)
Ok, everyone...shake hands and make up... :)
