Naked man attacks Cape Girardeau police officer (Missouri)

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -- A naked man attacked a Cape Girardeau police officer and tried go to grab his gun before officers used a stun gun to subdue him.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon as police responded to a call of an attempted break-in at a trailer park, police spokesman Jason Selzer said. At the scene, police spotted the naked man walking.
As an officer was getting out of his car, the 52-year-old man walked toward the squad car and grabbed the officer, slamming him into the side of the vehicle.
The officer fired his stun gun, but the assailant kept attacking, grabbing at the officer's neck. When the two fell to the ground, the man attempted to grab the officer's handgun, Selzer said.

The man was suspected of being under the influence of drugs, and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Rush's brother, David, is a lawyer, an author, and a columnist, whose columns are often posted to FR.There was a news program that described David Limbaugh as "wandering the streets" of that city. Thats why he thought it would be funny.

A news program said that? Yes. Rush has mentioned several times on his show about his brother David wandering around Cape Girardeau. I'm sure he would have found the comment funny. I did!

Whoa, there...calm down, please. Sure, there was one or two who made rather tasteless remarks, quite possibly due to simple ignorance...but to engage in wholesale petty attacks on Sully, who is simply trying to defuse this situation in the way that he/she knows best, is completely uncalled for. I don't think the Mods or JimRob need to be bothered with this, IMHO.
