Hey, I said it was NPR.

They're apparently just looking for more "native culture" to look down on, while telling the rest of us that "all cultures are equal" -- which is why they prefer Marin County to Des Moines, and Manhattan NY to Manhattan Kansas.

I appreciate all your posts, BTW. Much safer here in Arizona, despite any superficial resemblance in temperature.

LOL - as soon as I saw it was NPR, I knew it was suspect.

I asked the Iraqis guys just for a lark. It gave everyone a good laugh and it'll generate some good-natured jokes and ribbing over the next couple of days.

So NPR just provided us some positive energy. ;-)

Thank you!!! He's actually saying that .. AND that the level of tension is so high (and so the goat story) that a grocer was shot because he arranged his vegetables in a suggestive manner ???? Dear Lord.
