I had a rental car recently that had XM in it, and I loved it. So now I WANT to have satellite radio, so I'm asking my fellow FREEPers opinions. Which is best? Or, why do you prefer Sirius or XM?
Thanks in advance! RD

I have and enjoy two XM receivers -- one for home, and one portable which I take when I travel. Great service, from both terrestrial and satellite transmitters.

XM
I have had it since it's inception, so I may be biased, but I am a completely satisfied customer.

Nothing compares to AM (talk) radio.

XM. I've had it for over a year now and love it. The best part is their morning show Opie and Anthony.

ditto on the XM. I have had it for two years and am pleased. Don't know much about Sirius. I think the differences are mostly in sports programming. I think Sirius has the NFL. XM has Major Leauge Baseball.

I'm in an office building and the walls have metal studs. Unless you're near a window (and most people are not), you can't get reception.

Can you get Rush and Sean on XM or????
There are some big empty areas in my travel ranges. :(

Had Sirius, now it's XM.
Biggest reason is I don't wanna help fund Howard.
BTW, if decide against the majority here, I have a sirius unit I can sell you, CHEAP.

I've owned XM since Christmas and have listened every night since then. my three current favorite channels are 84, 82 and 124 (124 is WABC radio out of NY, I listen to the John Batchelor show starting at 9pm - locally the show doesnt begin until 11pm).
