Some folks were happy.

Unlike Clinton, the self-serving reprobate, Nixon at least had the sense of propriety to resign.

As well as a sense of shame, something with which Klintoon would not be acquainted.

As luck would have it my wife and I were vacationing in DC that day. We were standing out in front of the White House when he boarded Army One for the last time. I've got a series of pictures I took of the Army One lifting off and flying past the Washington Monument. It was a sad day for the country on several levels.

Was it Army One or Marine Corps One?

On Nixon's last day, he didn't have to glad hand everyone in the crowd for hours on end like BJ.

True -- I left that one out. Clinton is an empty shell, no ethics, pride, self-repect, morals, no interest in right or wrong --- nothing but a shell of pure ego and narcissism.
