JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) Authorities have arrested an 18-year-old Jefferson City man after he allegedly made 55 false emergency calls to 9-1-1.
Court documents say Justin M- Hohman called the Jefferson City police dispatch center between March and July. The calls ranged from reports of accidents with inujuries or downed power lines to him just yelling at the dispatcher.
In most cases, dispatchers would send out emergency crews who would then discover the calls were false.
Authorities say Hohman told investigators that he liked the lights on emergency vehicles and the excitement they caused. In some case, he told them that he was nearby and wanted to see if he got caught.
He's charged with misuse of emergency 9-1-1 telephone services.
But if he can't call 9-1-1, how can he see the pretty lights!?
Get this guy some Christmas lights - the biggest ones made!
"he liked the lights on emergency vehicles"
I like the pretty medics in the emergency vehicles...lol
