LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - David Hasselhoff was banned from a plane for being too drunk. The 'Baywatch' star, nicknamed The Hoff, turned up intoxicated to London's H eathrow airport at 7am yesterday (26.07.06), and then continued to knock back drinks in British Airways' first class lounge as he waited to board his 9.55am flight to Los Angeles. The troubled actor - who recently claimed he had beaten his alcohol problems - ranted to airline staff and VIP passengers about his divorce and moaned, "My life is a mess."
An onlooker said: "He was drinking alone and staring into space, He started ranting incoherently. It was clear he was talking about his wife and the messy divorce. Her was sobbing and nodding his head."
During his drunken stupor the star stumbled into a duty free shop and lifted up the manageress.
Another witness revealed: "The manager said, 'I don't think you're fit to fly, sir.' He told her. 'I think you are right.'"
Onlookers were even more horrified when a dark wet patch appeared around the actor's groin area.
BA staff decided Hasselhoff was unfit to travel and asked him to sleep it off and wait for another flight.
He was finally allowed to board a flight two hours later, but was taken there in a buggy - usually reserved for elderly passengers.
A BA spokesman confirmed: "A male passenger was denied boarding on the BA279 Heathrow to Los Angeles service because he was deemed unfit to travel. He was assessed later and passed fit to fly on BA283.
Hell, he's hammered on that horrible show he's a judge on (America's got talent????) I was stuck in a hospital and it was one of the only things on and he was wasted!
True, I didn't think of that angle. How embarrassing would it be to be voted off by David Hasselhoff on national television? That might leave me with some suicidal tendencies.
Weeelllllll...

;-)
Why is he in the news again? For ten years he vanished and now suddenly I can't go a week without hearing about him.
He'll always be Snapper to me!
Somehow my father still managed to provide things for us, even tho he and my mother split up.
But, I think we are hijacking the thread,so....
Back to the HOFF!!
:)
So I got a handful of beers (naturally), and was hurrying back to the gate when I heard that "beep beep beep" of one of those airport carts. I look back and it's a redcap with an elderly passenger. So I hitched a ride (the terminal was deserted--it was maybe 10:30pm).
The look on the faces of a whole 757-load of passengers when we drove up to the gate was priceless. (I did get multiple evil-eyes from the SAS stews). I had to note where they kept the booze and helped myself on the flight to Copenhagen, so I never officially was cut-off.
Had a buddy like that in college as well. When he wasn't pissing himself in his sleep, he was pissing on his floor, on the wall, in the trash, on his stereo, --pretty much everywhere but the toilet! Every time he always though that he was in the bathroom.
I never set foot in his room without my shoes on --lest I step in a puddle.
LOL!!
Horrifying!!
It sounds like he beat his alcohol problem to a pulp.
He's in Adam Sandler's latest flick too (which I think has already slunk out of theaters)....
In the good old days he could swan around sloshed out of his head and let Kit do all the driving. Unfortunately, they never made a Kit plane though.
Now, here's your punishment:

lol!
Spent a memorable couple of hours at O'Hare, if I could just remember them... ;^)
Worst experience was trying to race across Wayne County Airport in 5 minutes for a connection to O'Hare. NOT FUN! As wild as some of my sprints in DFW have been, nothing was ever that bad.
Oh, come on... Knight Rider was better.
MY EYES! I MUST GO SCALD THEM WITH BLEACH NOW!!!
A leather jacket and a Speedo... two things that just... make a really head-scratching combination.
