Just as long as he doesn't perform "Darling Nikki" at halftime.

I hope his pants don't fall off with a "wardrobe malfunction".

Prince's ego aside, they could do alot worse--like they did with Britney Spears and Aerosmith together.
IMO, one of the best SB halftime performers was ZZ Top. I don't know what year that was though.

Dear merciful God in heaven, can the NFL POSSIBLY be any more tone deaf? In tone, I mean the nature of their audience.
If they (the NFL) think that by adding a washed up, has been of a performer like prince to the half time show that they are expanding their viewing audience, they are sadly mistaken.
I love football, but the NFL stinks.

How appropriate that in the Super Bowl following 9/11, in renewed patriotism and love of our country (except maybe by the 'RATS) the winner should be the New England PATRIOTS...

What's wrong with some old-school marching bands, or drum lines and the punt, pass, and kick competition?
I just don't understand why the halftime shows never have anything at all to do with football anymore.

No complaints from me. It's great to see Prince resurrect his career after better than a decade of just plain weirdness.
Prince is an incredibly talented musician and songwriter. He is also a dazzlingly skilled (and very underrated) guitar player.
