If you look, the N&O has only published info harmful to Nifong when another News Organiation was running with it. When the cat's out of the bag, they print - and then say "we reported on that."
Why has NOT ONE news organization printed the Judge's name that postponed Kim Roberts case for the 2nd time?
How much stuff on this case has been produced by posters right here - when News Organizations with incredible resources and contacts have ignored it?

Melanie is conflicted. In other circumstances the N&O would wallow in bashing Durham and its racist cops. However, to do so now would mean she'd have to support the racist and elite lax players. What to do? What to do?
