N & O blogging tip:

Since the margins are blown on LAX blogs simply using the return key on each typed line will correct the problem.

(Not that I know first hand, or anything.)

Not to be offensive, it seems no one is interested in the Ferry story.

Respectfully, you cannot "Make" your readers take interest in a story. Also, by taking on the affect of the stern school teacher, you further alienate your readers.

I do say this with all due respect, when the impression floats out there that you are purposely ignoring a story, it leads one to believe your paper is are part of the the corruption or your paper fears the major players in a story.

No one expects you to be a full time blogger. What your readers expect is a complete reporting of the news, regardless of how uncomfortable the subject matter is, regardless of who is involved.

I will close in saying this. Investigative reporting used to be the forte of the print media. I scratch my head at times and ask when did this change? There was a time when any reporter would salivate a certain stories.

But now it seems as if the print media fears legal ramifications or, even worse, offending any recognized special interest group.

This may be deleted as "off topic" but I have had my say and you have read it.

Thank you.

"Don't forget-Kimmy is due in court today (I think)"

That is correct. She is there for violation of parole. I wonder if she failed to pay her restitution even after here paid interview with Vanity Fair... $25,000 wasn't it?

25,000 for that article?

Wow...I bet they'd give you 50,000 if you went to Charlotte and then sold your story.
National Enquirer might give you 100,000

:-)

The more inconsistent stories, the better. At least it appears so in Precious's case. Why this poor traumatized cook should be any different?

My theory is that the cook yelled something like "Hey, slow down you cracker!" and now is changing his story to make himself more of a victim of racial slurs. It is a commonly used tactic here.

Regardless what he said, it gave no right for off-duty policemen from another city any right to stop and come back and assault him. Remember, even though they may or may NOT have touched him, it was still assault in North Carolina.
