A seven-year Veteran of the Fresno Police Department was under paid administrative leave, after Police discovered drug paraphernalia in his Central Fresno home.

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said investigators did not arrest Officer Alfred Campos because the drugs were not found in his room. Officer Campos was sharing the house with his brothers.

The crystal meth and the drug money were found in the bedrooms next door to officer Campos: where his two brothers slept.

Here's some more info from another news site:

Drug Bust at Home of Fresno Police OfficerJuly 21, 2006 - Fresno police announced a major drug bust Friday and it happened in a home shared by one of it's own officers.

Police raided the home in central Fresno on Thursday and found several pounds of crystal meth and over $70,000 in cash.

They arrested one man, Francisco Marin, at the home and are looking for another suspect who lived there.

Police say they also searched the room of officer Alfred Campos, but didn't find any illegal drugs there.

Officer Campos has been placed on paid administrative leave while police conduct a criminal and internal investigation. <

Are you sure the bike is blue? Do you have photos and a link?

If it were you or me, count on it! And you could count on your house being confiscated as an asset forfeiture.

Since the beginning of the drug war. The property itself is considered criminal, and if you're associated with the property in any way, you're on the hook for it.

It`s true, it`s because this guy is a cop. I drive a taxi here in NYC and one of my greatest fears is not getting robbed or even shot, but getting busted for drugs. Can you believe if I pick someone up who wants to go to the airport, and I throw their luggage into my trunk, I can get busted if that luggage contains drugs! If a cop pulls me over and searches the trunk and finds 20 pounds of heroin or whatever, all the passenger has to say is "It`s not mine" and I am screwed beyond belief! That happened to two cabbies here already in NYC, they both got off but not after doing some time waiting and having their lives destroyed. And this cop isn`t busted for the sh*t being in his own HOUSE?? Say WHAT?

I pray for your safety my friend. At this time, the officer has been put on administrative leave pending a criminal investigation. I'll try to ping you when there are further results.

That`s what I think Whitney Houston is on. I heard her teeth have now fallen out and she wears dentures that she keeps losing.

Actually it`s a pretty safe job, I think the last cabbie shot and robbed on the job was 6 years ago, but there are sooooo so so so so so so many ways the city sticks it to cabbies it`s unreal.

For example, last Thursday the heat wave here caused a black-out in several areas that affected the subways, so naturally everyone wanted a taxi and it was busy as hell. So what did the city do? Made sure cops and the TLC (taxi and limosine commission) gave out as many tickets as possible to taxi drivers to get some of that extra money we were making.

I got pulled over once by a cop and twice by the TLC in that ONE day! But they couldn`t give me anything because I made damn sure everything was immaculate, down to my trip sheets (you have to write down every fare you have), seat belts, cleanliness, wearing a collared shirt (yes they actually give tickets if a cabbie is not wearing a shirt with a collar) and car signals, brake signals etc ect ect.

They screwed me like that last year, $350 in tickets but this time I was ready. I actually took home all the money I earned without the liberal pissholes dipping into it.

Talk about being not busted, how that woman is still able to get high like this is beyond me. Her purse must look like a who`s who of crack and meth.
