I wouldn't call it ridicule. I would call it a critique to FNC, its prime time anchor, and their priorities. I'm glad they're highlighting the event of the year, but am watching and hoping they don't turn this into another appeal to the lowest common denominator.
I want up to date, intelligent news and analysis.

I like Shep Smith very much, actually. I think he has a great sense of humor. I enjoy watching him because he makes me laugh every day at least once in his program. Who else adds that to the straight news? Some people say he's not at all straight, but gay, and you call him a "drama queen". I don't care if he IS gay because if he is he certainly does not push a gay agenda. He's probably a lib, but he doesn't push that agenda either. I just find him enjoyable.
