Bikini-Clad Kate Hudson Causes Helicopter Crash?
Star Pulse ^ | 07/17/06

A U.S. marine crew are being questioned after allegedly crashing their helicopter while trying to catch a glimpse of Hollywood star Kate Hudson. The stunning actress was wearing a swimsuit, diamond collar and high heels on the set of You, Me & Dupree in California when the chopper buzzed low overhead before crashing just yards away.

Hudson, married to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson, says, "We heard this huge crash. A sort of huge plywood thing came falling on to my car from a rooftop. Then the cops were there and the Marines were there and I'm in this outfit. I realised what I was wearing and I said, 'I'm sorry, can someone get me a robe?'"

"Like I said, cute but not beautiful."

Well, I'll settle for cute then.

Selma Hayek would be worth crashing a helicopter for but Kate Hudson. No!

She was superb in Almost Famous. Her performance was stunning.

I must admit that I haven't seen her in anything else, however.

When you see her in other movies you realize that, like many first-time major roles, someone is being applauded for the one thing they can do, not for an original performance. She basically plays the same character over and over again. It's a bit depressing, because Almost Famous is such a good movie. (The "director's cut" doesn't seem all that different to me, btw.)

BTW--this movie is just coming out now, so this "crash" must have happened months and months ago, but I don't see a date.

She's better than ok, but no Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Salma could make me write bad checks.

6/28/2002 ) Hollywood beauty Kate Hudson won't be winning prizes for patriotism anytime soon - she's sick of Americans. After three months filming Le Divorce in France, Kate admits she has developed a dislike for her countryfolk after running into Americans in Paris and London. She explains, "Sometimes I'll be walking down the street and I'll hear some American and I'll just go, 'Of course they hate us, of course they can't stand us. We're the most annoying, boisterous creatures in the world.' I mean we come in and we eat mounds of food, and we're like, 'Where's the ketchup for our French fries.' I'm like, 'Shut up.'"

In From Dusk Till Dawn, she says to Quinton Tarrantino, " I will make you my dawg, I will call you Spot."

I would say, " I can live with that!"
She was smoking is Desperado.

She's s total airhead, pothead, married to the airhead, pothead lead singer of the Black Crowes.

Not saying he isn't an airhead, but I have to respect someone who knows how to live the Rock and Roll Lifestyle so well. Great music, huge partier and married to a movie star that is the trifecta and can't be beat. Although I think he has been clean since at least a little before they were married.

What was the crew wearing?

Were any of them wearing diamond chokers?

Who are they married to.......anyone we know?

Did plywood or something fall on their heads when they crashed?

Holding my breath for more info........

Great music...

"Shake Your Money Maker" is their best CD. Every single song on it is great.

I saw them on their "Shake Your Money Maker" tour in '91(?)--great concert.

TBC were hugely popular during that time.

Although I think he has been clean since at least a little before they were married.

Chris Robinson is a huge pothead and proud of it. I doubt he'd just give it up.

Once a pothead, always a pothead.

Maybe it is just heroin that he gave up. I remember reading an interview with Kate Hudson where she talked about it.

Let's check the original, if it has grease stains on it, that's as good as his signature.

The bit about the french fries was the giveaway. Must've been hungry when he wrote it.

I hear a lot of people who go to foreign countries say unflattering things about our tourists. I don't know why this is, but I think there's something to it. For whatever reason, loud tourists seem to give Americans who are working abroad a poor impression of their compatriots.

I live in South Florida, and the tourists that come here from the rest of the country do seem boorish. Midwesterners are the salt of the earth and the nicest people on earth IMO, but seem to put their worst foot forward when they are in their role as tourists.

'Course, we have tourists from other countries, and they seem boorish too. I give Japanese and German tourists even worse marks than ours. Maybe it's just that there are more American tourists than other kinds.

Beyond that, the girl in the pics is extremely pretty, and judging by her remarks, maybe an airhead too, though I think looks and brains usually go together.
