DENVER (AP) - Beer baron Peter Coors' driver's license has been revoked by a hearing officer who ruled the executive had been driving under the influence of alcohol, officials said.
Hearing officer Scott Garber ruled Friday that Coors did not stop at a stop sign on May 28 and was driving intoxicated.

It couldn't have been Coors. It is nearly impossible to get drunk off that watered-down fermented substance they call "beer."
Coors is loke making love in a canoe
Eeesh--he should have had a V8--driven by a chauffeur.
Getting popped in your driveway. That sucks.
In one breath test, he registered a blood alcohol level of 0.073 percent. In a second, 20 minutes later, he registered 0.088. In Colorado a blood alcohol count of 0.05 results in a driving while impaired charge, while a count of 0.08 results in driving under the influence.
Wow! He was pretty wasted! /s
I can remember when the threshold for DUI in Colorado was 0.1%. MADD is going to keep lowering the limit until someone who gargles with Scope before leaving for work in the morning will be considered legally drunk. Meanwhile, the vast majority of alcohol-related fatalities are caused by repeat offenders driving on suspended licenses with BACs above 0.14%.
This is sounding like the rush limbaugh viagra case. It sounds like coors failed to come to a complete and total stop (maybe) and the cop did not like the results of the first test so he keeps on testing.
Yeah, but those people are losers without money. Dropping the BAC dips into the responsible (bill-paying) population.
Yeah, out west they call that a California stop (at least in Colorado they do) ... slowing down, but not stopping completely, then proceeding. Lived in Colorado for eight years, in that period of time I collected several speeding tickets and one California stop citation. Without question, and I've lived all over this country ... Colorado cops rank as the most chickensh*t. For instance, in Littleton, CO one Sunday AM around 0800 I was given a ticket for going 34 in a 25mph school zone. Summer time, no school, Sunday AM and not a kid to be seen anywhere ... my California stop citation was even more egregious, but you get the idea.
They need to keep justifying their existence government funding.
He should be able to get the charges dismissed on that alone.
Great article. Looks like it was posted as a thread a while back over here: When Drunk Driving Deterrence Becomes Neo-Prohibition
Agree--excellent article. Loaded with info, rather than typical emotional clamor.

There are good cops, and crappy cops. I think the badge gets to their heads most the time. It's just like some of our government, power trip gets to their heads. ;)
.07 is just stupid. One beer and you could be "drunk". MADD started as a good cause and now is wanting to drive toward prohibition.
