INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - NASCAR could be getting a makeover next season.
With Juan Pablo Montoya, a Colombian, bringing an international flavour to American stock car racing, the circuit is now apparently considering another major move - bringing America's top female driver, Danica Patrick, to the series.

I'm fed up with open wheel racing shooting itself in the foots. Get back together and try to make some sense of it before they ALL go Nascar (ugh!).

We were licking our lips that Montoya was on his way to F1 but he never made the impact that was hoped for. I trust he enjoys returning to NASCAR and find success again.
Saw NASCAR at Rockingham UK 4 years ago. Superb!!

Maybe now she'll win an actual race, instead of just being eye candy?

I hope she does. Open wheel drivers have done quite well in NASCAR

Out of open wheel racing, she's ranked at least in the top 15#. Hardly a gimmick.

Yeah, she's hot, but I am more partial to that '57 Chevy.
At least that's what my wife told me to say.

Yeah, that's a nice "57". And the Chevy is a '57, too!
