MACON, Ga. -- A lowbrow celebration of all things tacky drew thousands of people over the weekend to Georgia.
The Redneck Games are a 10-year-old tradition in East Dublin.
The event was started by a local radio station as a spoof of the Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
It has grown in popularity over the years, and now includes competition in events like mud-pit belly flopping, toilet-lid tossing and the "arm pit serenade."
Instead of a gold medal, top prize for most events is a trophy topped with a crushed Bud Light can.
Last year's event drew more than 15,000 people.
leaving corn in shuck cooks up real nice in about 2 hours.
Hell, that looks like my last family reunion.
Done that many times.
Diving for pig's feet is always fun - and not as easy as y'all might think.

It's a great way to have a nice, hot picnic far from civilisation. It does generate some strange looks from passers-by, though (if any) ...
..first place goes to....
Well always thought I was... now I guess It's official... made many cans of beans using the manifold method!
Its amazing how much Rednecks and Mexicans have with eachother. Why can't both just get along and intermarry?
Because they will have kids who are too lazy to steal.
ROFLOL.

They have a new tin roof now. This was taken a few weeks after Rita but the town would make Jeff Foxworthy proud! ;)
Yup. Also, in my case, it was lunch almost every day on the chipper. We'd just let the chipper idle while we were moving from job to job, and put lunch on around 10:30. Had to drive carefully so the lunch wouldn't fall off.
