One of the Emmy nominees for best animated program is the episode of "South Park" that's said to have angered Tom Cruise and Isaac Hayes.
The episode called "Trapped in the Closet" implies that Cruise is gay and makes fun of Scientology.
Cruise's fellow Scientologist Isaac Hayes reportedly quit because he was upset with the episode. And when it came time to rerun it, Cruise allegedly called Comedy Central and demanded that it be pulled. It was, even though Cruise's people denied he asked for it.

I loved the one that ran last night. I don't know whether it was new or a rerun but it's about the revolution of the old people and what horrible drivers they are and then this morning I hear a story about a local kid hit and killed on his motor cycle by an "elderly lady" who turned the wrong way on an access road. wow.

I couldn't believe I actually got to see the origional airing of that episode. I loved the credits, "John Smith" or "Jane Smith" was streaming down the screen, and I was cracking up. and of course the last scene of the movie.

You know if they win, "John and Jane Smith" will accept with those presidential masks on or something.

The credits for that ep were absolutely the cherry on top. I nearly fell out of my chair with tears rolling down my face. At some point in the future, I hope the SP creators get a "Medal of Freedom" award for their yeoman work in such a hostile environment... Hollywood.

Have you seen "Team America"? That movie is both vulgar and blindingly hilarious at the same time.
