They were the better team. But of course, that's not saying much as Germany were wildly overrated all through the tournament.
At least they did better than the equally overrated Brazil team.

Actually I thought I saw that Italy recorded 14 shots on goal to 5 for France.
As some might suggests, just average.
I'd call that just average domination.
