No July 4 colors or Decorations on Google
7/2/06 | peggybac

It is July 3rd and nothing festive on Google.com. Will they or won't they decorate their site for the holiday? I have a feeling they won't.

Maybe it's just me, but I have a feeling I just don't care one way or the other.

Before we start the lynching, let's at least wait until a crime takes place.

Then don't use Google.

Is this really that important?

It's a conspiracy. Did you realize their sites main colors are those anti-American colors of red, white and blue? Also, they have the date as July 2. I think they it's a conspiracy to make us miss the holiday. As midnight aproaches, they will jump ahead to the correct date and we will all see July 5 thus they have mastered the elimination of our Indepencdence holiday. Thanks.

Because they are sick and tired of all the complaints...maybe they stopped doing it.

Whoops! I just realized that FR has the same red, white and blue color scheme. I am totally losing it.

If you do not like "Google", go to "Dogpile". At least "Dogpile" is mindful of the Amercian holidays.

Amen.

Many posters here (esp newbies) seem to have the same persecution complex and entitlement mentality that liberals do.

Get over it already.

Simple step-by-step solution:

(1) Click on "Bookmarks" in your browser.

(2) Right click your link to Google. Select properties.

I'm rather sure they will. Google has had a July 4 logo every year since it's had holiday logos, but oddly enough they always seem to wait until July 4 before they put up their July 4 logo..

July 4 2001:

July 4 2002:

July 4 2003:
