Matthew was just watching a show with a really over-protective mom. He said "Wow, that woman makes you look irresponsible!" ROFLOL!!
This comes after some big kid, a boy, maybe 16-17 years old, kept trying to play with the jedis in the pool this morning. There were other teenagers there but he wanted to play with my boys??? I don't think so. He would come up and try to talk to the boys and the boys would swim off...then up he'd come to them again. (Most kids are just dropped off, I'm the only mom there a lot of times.)
Anyway, it made me feel strange and I finally got up and told him "My boys aren't allowed to talk to strange grown-ups." The guy replied "I'm not a grown-up!" I said "Don't argue with me! You're old enough to father a child, you're too old to play with mine."

No offense, 2J, but I'd be kinda disconcerted if someone said that to my little brother. :-\
Not to mention most of my brothers enjoyed doing stuff with younger boys. It's one reason several of them were really involved with Boy Scouts. I realize it's different when they usually at least kinda have an idea who the kids are, of course, but...
Yeah, or to my brothers. A little like when I would have my baby brother at the mall and people would walk past and give me these evil glares. I always wanted an "I'm the Sister" t-shirt.
Though I can see your point of view 2J not wanting some strange teen to play with your kids...
I'd have to agree Rosie. If it was just wanting to hang out and goof around in public, that's pretty harmless. I wouldn't let them go off with him, that's a different story and that doesn't sound like what he was up to. (not that he was up to anything).
It's your call 2J, but not every teenage male is a pervert.
