I'd love to see an England-Germany final, but it will probably be Brazil-Argentina.

Still hoping for an England/Germany finale. Have a co-worker from Germany. She said based on their styles it would probably be brutal.

Thanks for doing this!
Note to the folks in the Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto, CA DMA.
The Germany v. Sweden match is on espn2 alternate, in standard definition.
Those of us with HDTV's, well, we're outta luck. You may wish to express your thanks to the lying jerks at News10.net. KGO-TV is carrying the match in HD. But that's not enough to make me move back to the bay area.
Univision, baby!

Arrrrrrg! The dreaded penalty kick shootouts return. As an England fan, I've some terrible flashbacks.

The grouping with Italy and Switzerland is the easiest, with the Argentina/Germany group the most difficult. I'm pulling for Argentina; wife's from there. My pick for the Final Four are Argentina, Switzerland, Portugal, and Spain (I think they will upset Brazil).

Go Germany, because I want the next USA coach to have a World Cup Title on his resume.

Germany and Argentina are through to the quarters. Tomorrow I'm taking England and The Netherlands.

the XM Radio World Cup team interviewed one of the American players that has returned, and he didnt have any nice things to say about the German fans....
He said the nicest things said to them were by the Czechs, who just cheered BASKETBALL - BASEBALL....meaning, those were sports they should stick to

I am going for England on this one.
After all Ecuador did get clobbered 3-0 by Germany, and Rooney is now quite fit.
England will go through to the last 8.
That Argentina Mexico game was something! I'm really looking forward to Holland, and to Australia tomorrow morning.

What's the difference between the England football team
and a tea bag?
A tea bag stays longer in the cup!
