:-)
"Okie dokie. How's it going with your big paper?"
Ah, ye olde dissertation. It is going pretty well. I have one chapter in the bag and two others that are coalescing. I should have four chapters done by the end of the summer.
How are things going in your neck o' the woods?
Even though I am just a little south of the Adirondacks it is still pretty up here this time of the year.
Wait a minute -- those aren't part of the lyrics!
Hardee, har, har! :)
I'm working... teaching Italian and having a lot of fun, plus I find - believe it or not - the time to play tennis in the afternoons and have fun during the weekends. I really enjoy the warm weather because I get to do all kinds of sports and activities.
It's nice during the summer, and it's also beautiful in the fall when the leaves change colors from red to gold, etc. It's absolutely lovely.
Oh, you posted a song?
I'll Say A Little Prayer
From the moment I wake up
Before I put on my makeup
I say a little prayer for you..
While combing my hair now
And wond'ring what dress to wear now
I say a little prayer for you...
Chorus:
Forever, and ever, you'll stay in my heart, and I'll love you
Forever, and ever, we never will part, oh I love you
Together, forever, that's how it should be
Living without you
Would only mean heartbreak for me...
I run for the bus dear, while riding I think of us dear,
I say a lil prayer for you
At work I just take time, and all through my coffee break time
I say a lil prayer for you...
Chorus
My darling believe me
For me there is no one but you
Say you love me too...
So, how many opponents have you vanquished on the tennis court?
Oooooh, LOL! I got it.
Yes, you said "I will say a little prayer for you" and the song popped into my head.
They are not too bad... tough guys I must say, but am fast on my feet, hehehe.
I want that song... I don't have it. Who sings it? Now that you mentioned it, I know I heard that song before.
LOL

C'mon, you can admit that you made them cry like wee girls. ;-)
See, today is your happy day.
Dionne Warwick sings a version of it -- you'd know it if you heard it. It was in "My Best Friend's Wedding," also.
Hmmm, just a little. :-)
Tomorrow SHOULD be my happy day.
