Its not about the money to her, Jakki says. Its about her [being] brutally raped, sodomized, called a nigger. Can you imagine being choked and held down? The thought of it it reminds me of slavery days when the women were brutally raped by the masters - makes me furious because they want to make these [Duke players] out to be golden boys.
Unbelieveable. This says it all.

Ummmm... not to impugn the integrity of another human being BUT if she was selling her body to "scrape" by, why in the world would she turn down $2 mil?!

Another lie, again, betrayed by it's own excessive scale. Two mill? Ridiculous.

"Those were the headlines, now for the rumors behind the news: Adam 1-3's incipient negritude will come as a surprise to his honorary aquarium parents Ralph Bunche and Ida Lupino..."
And here I thought the Firesign Theatre's absurdities would never see the light of responsible journalistic day.
Then again, I did know, I just didn't realize it would be people who probably listened to them too much who would go the distance on it.
It would be churlish to reflect on Mark Twain's 'Journalism in Tennessee' but somehow the utter recklessness of this seems to require it.

If she did not take it, then it just shows how disturbed she really is.

Sounds like Barbra Steisand to me.A hooker is offered two million for keeping quiet about a rape that's *already happened* and she turns it down?
Barbra Streisand!!!!!
To: zaxxon
This is hard news. A random individual who refuses to give her last name claims that she heard about a bribe from a third party.
I might as well claim to be the spokesman of one of the accused families and say that I heard from one of the accused that the "victim's" family asked Duke for $2M and Duke refused.
How's that? That's just as substantiated as this.

This says it all. Jakki (she will not reveal her last name in order to protect her family)
This says a lot, too...

Well, well...guess that proves that she is a wonderful, wholesome young lady....NOT. That bit** would no more turn down $2 Million than she would tell the truth.

I don't know about you guys, but I know my alma mater would definitely pony up two million in hush money if I raped and sodomized one of their townies.

Her "cousin"?
If the case, it appears that the entire family is "truth impaired".
To: pgyanke
Simple, she thinks she can get more.
I don't believe a word that comes out of her or any of her spokesmen.
