Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, has been fined $250,000 for his actions after game 5 of the NBA Finals in Miami.
Among those acts was shouting "F** You" at David Stern, NBA Commissioner as he was leaving the arena, coming on the court after the game and getting in the face of Ben Salvatore, the referee who called a foul on Josh Howard in the final minute of the game as he attempted to block a shot by David Wade.
Cuban then held a news conference, mocking nearly every question asked by the media.
This is not the first time Cuban has been fined a quarter million. He's still upset at the suspension of Stackhouse for Game 5 for blocking Shaquille O'Neal on a shot.

Pocket change to Cuban. He despises David Stern, and ole David is going to get the raspberries tonight at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

NBA management wants the Finals to go to 7 games.
It's a business after all.

The Mavs got robbed BIG time in game 5!! They will come out strong tonight. I wouldn't bet money on the Heat winning this series.

Did he really go on the court again? The next time he does that they should force him to sell the team.

I don't blame Mark Cuban for getting pissed off. I know watching the Indiana Pacers playing against big market teams, calls get fixed to favor the big over the small.
Another off the side comment on Mr. Stern, I remembered when the NBA players were upset about his business causal dress code that even applied to traveling to and from home to game venue. This is something from pre-1990's/1980's. When I traveled for business except for my first job out of college, I never had to "dress to impress" when I traveled - home, airport, flying, getting bags and going to hotel.

Got robbed? Must have watched a different game than I.
Between hack a shaq and Cubans outrageous immaturity, I sure hope that the Heat win.

Did he really go on the court again? The next time he does that they should force him to sell the team. They can't do that. He went on the court after the game. And Salvatore was particularly undistinguished in his foul calls against the Mavericks on Sunday.
Suspending Stackhouse for "aggressive play" was the silliest thing I've seen all year in the NBA.
Stern doesn't like Cuban, and he doesn't like Dallas, and it shows.

Well, I like Cuban. He's a jerk, but he's our jerk, and a very rich one at that.
Go Mavs.

"We wuz robbed! We wuz robbed!" The Heat beat the Mavs fair and square. That German is pretty fast but Wade was faster. If they win tonight, the streets will be overflowing with crazy fans. I'll be at La Carreta on Bird Road ready to buy any of the Sore Loserman's a cortadito.

Imagine that, the media instantly spreading around the world a lie put forth by persons with an agenda. So unusual....

"David" Wade? Its Dwayne #3 and he gonna beat up on Dallas real good...heheheh

Looks like a foul to me: And Howard definitely pulled a Chris Webber (of sorts).

Did this writer actually write "David Wade"? Anyone on the planet who follows round-ball knows it's "Dwyane Wade." No, his mother can't spell, but as long as it's spelled right on his contract, it doesn't matter.
Cuban is an ass. He has money but no class. And now he wants to give Dan Rather a job since no one else will. Fortunately, no one will ever see the show on HD TV.

Then why the fine for a quarter million?
If Cuban didn't say that to Stern, he should have.

Agreed. The referee's determine who will win by how they call the game. I long for the days of long ago when refs called a tight game and you had great basketball in its purest form. Lots of scoring and great cutting and passing. Now, refs almost let everything go (unless it affects the their favored team)and particularly fail to call charging fouls. Shaq is a walking foul. I hate street ball.
I think that's why we stunk it up in the Olympics. The refs made USA play real basketball and our players didn't know how to perform.

I said David Wade. All I know is Wade, and that when he wasn't scoring, the refs said he was being fouled.
Mark Cuban saved professional basketball in Dallas. He has the money to treat the Mavericks as a hobby, he has fun with the players, and the fans love him.
And, his team got to the NBA Finals for the first time in 28 years.
