It wasn't worth fighting. It was a one-year temp job that was getting cut due to a sudden budget problem (a blessing in disguise). I was supposed to be there till April 07, but it got cut to August, and then the middle of July. On top of that I was harassed twice for my appearance (it was AWFUL), so I quit on Tuesday. Why bother.

I suppose I could get a lawyer and sue.

If you're working a HR job, you know your rights.

Sounds like a bad situation. Just make DARN sure that these incidents don't follow you to your next interview. It's amazing how stuff like this, tho not your fault, can influence prospective employers. Sucks.

Sorry to hear about your problems at work - not nice if people have issues with what you wear there are right and wrong ways to go about it and obviously they went about it the wrong way.

Also you strike me as someone (from your posts) who would wear what is appropriate.
