MARTINEZ, Calif. A strange trial in a San Francisco suburb has ended with a suburban housewife convicted of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of her therapist husband.
Defendant Susan Polk acted as her own attorney. Two of her sons testified against her, and she testified she had psychic powers.
Prosecutors had sought a first-degree murder conviction, arguing that Polk plotted to kill her husband in 2002 for his multi-(m) million-dollar estate.
Polk testified her husband died as she fought back in self-defense following years of abuse.
She'd met him when she was a teenager and he was her therapist. Polk also told the jury her psychic powers had warned her of the Nine-Eleven attacks but her husband kept her from telling authorities.
Susan Polk faces a mandatory sentence of 15 years to life.

You NEVER see help wanted ads for psychics in the papers - they just KNOW where the 24-hour psychic hotline jobs are and just go there. Each psychic hotline company needs 3 complete shifts of psychics a day to man the phones, and that adds up to a LOT of psychics, but you never see any ads for them in the papers. 8^)

Her son testified that she was
Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, during the trial, but the technical term is "Psycho-Ceramic*".

I see another funny thread where we will meet again. I see a small 6 x 9 room. You will sleep there often.
